Who is behind this site
The Diaper Experts is written by a small editorial team — parents first. Between us we have diapered two children through the full run from newborn to potty training, roughly 7,000 changes of first-hand experience, plus years of being the person friends, siblings, and neighbors text when a diaper leaks at 2 a.m. or a rash will not quit.
We publish as The Diaper Experts editorial team. We deliberately do not put a fake name and fake credentials on our articles. You will not find an invented "certified diaper consultant" here. When we tell you something, we say who checked it, how, and when — that is the whole point.
What we actually do
- We finish packs. Reviews on this site come from diapers we used on real babies for weeks or months, not from reading spec sheets.
- We keep simple records: where leaks happened, what the marks on the legs and waist looked like, how many changes a pack lasted through the night, and what each diaper cost us per change at the time.
- When we measure something at home — like how much liquid a diaper holds before it starts leaking, using a measuring cup and a kitchen scale — we label it a home test. We do not have a test lab and will not pretend we do.
- Where a question is bigger than a diaper review — a rash that will not fade, a baby with fewer wet diapers — we point you to pediatric sources and tell you to call your doctor. Our health content policy spells out exactly how we handle those pages.
How the site makes money
Some links on this site are affiliate links, mainly to Amazon. If you buy through them, we may earn a small commission at no cost to you. No brand pays for placement, no brand sees drafts before you do, and our editorial policy and affiliate disclosure are public. Recommendations that would have to hide something are not worth publishing.
Why a whole site about diapers
Because the questions are constant and the answers online are mostly recycled listicles. Parents deserve one place that keeps fit data, real-use notes, and plain advice for every diaper problem in one notebook — ours.
